Course Details:
Pacific Sailing School located at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia is providing courses at Cronulla Sailing Club.
Student Instructor ratio: 1 to 4 on J24 Keelboats
Courses Duration: 4 x 6 hour practical sessions
Beginners Class
Competent Crew - Keelboat
This is the best way to start sailing – Onboard from lesson one! A great way to see the spectacular Cronulla Waterways and meet lots of new people, whilst getting a general understanding of the basics of sailing.
On our J24 you will have hands-on instruction on helming (steering the boat), main sheet (controlling the power of the boat), winches (turning the boat through tacks and gybes, etc), and the foredeck.
Includes:
- 4 x 6 hour days of practical lessons
- Unlimited *Practice Sessions for 6 weeks available on standby basis (call the day before)
- Waterproof Course kit with Textbook, Logbook and rope for knot practice. (express posted)
- A Twilight Race
- 2 x Theory and Social Evening, followed by fine wine only available at the CYCA
