CYCA Spring Series 2023
Starts Sunday 6th August 2023
Join us for the popular CYCA Spring Series! Sailed on Sydney Harbour, it is comprised of four Point score races throughout the months of August or early September. Races are a scratch start and commence at 1400hrs, allowing competitors to enjoy lunch at the CYCA, before heading out on the water to enjoy the best of the afternoon Spring breeze.
Join us on either our J24 Sailpac or our big boat More Witchcraft.
Our aim? To get you top crew spots by season end!

Training Days
Sundays 0900 to 1200 (3 hours)
Training is a requirement
Pre-race Lunch at the club
- Sundays 12 – 1 pm
Sunday Races
Start time 2pm
- Race 1: 6 August
- Race 2: 13 August
- Race 3: 20 August
- Race 4: 27 August
Pricing
Single Race: $290 per day
Available on a standby basis
Buy 4 races: $270 per day
4 races with training in the morning & social evenings $1,080 (less 10% for winter series participants)
The Boats
- More Witchcraft 46’ non- spinnaker division
- Sailpac J24 entered in Spinnaker Division
The Plan
- Breakfast and briefing with the skipper from 0900.
- Training and boat setup 0900 to 1200
- Lunch at CYCA (not included) 1200 to 1300.
- Race 1 pm to finish and then debrief at the CYCA Sydney Hobart Bar
- Might get wet and a few bruises.
- We will have so much Fun!

Booking Conditions
- Allocation of boats is on a first come first serve basis.
- Stand-by, may be available at cost of $290 per day
- PSS reserves the right to cancel racing and/or training days due to weather and/or safety concerns. In such event an alternate sailing day will be scheduled
- Non-attendance on sailing and training days will not be rescheduled or refunded.
- Key crew positions allocated to Keelboat Spinnaker graduates.
