RYA POWERBOAT LEVEL 2
The RYA Powerboat Level 2 course is a two-day practical training program designed to teach essential boat handling skills.
It is essential for professional yacht crew, watersports instructors and marine tourism operators and is legally required for anyone operating a tender to a superyacht or working as an RYA dinghy sailing or windsurfing instructor.
The certificate is internationally recognised and commercially endorsable.
COURSE DELIVERY

- Rigid Inflatable boats
- Small groups
SKILLS TAUGHT include:
- Close quarters handling
- High and low speed maneouvers and handling
- Man overboard recovery techniques
- Collision regulations
- Launching and recovery of the boat
- Securing to a buoy and anchoring
- Introduction to charts and navigation
- Legal responsibilities and skipper obligations
ABILITY AFTER THE COURSE
- RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate

NSW BOAT LICENCE
A one day course to equip you with the essential practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed to obtain your NSW Boat Licence.
Led by an expert instructor, the training is delivered in a fun, hands-on format, ensuring an engaging and informative experience.
You’ll finish the day by completing the official NSW General Boat Licence Knowledge Test — a multiple-choice assessment required by NSW Maritime to issue your boat licence.
