INTERNATIONAL SAILING QUALIFICATIONS

RYA TRAINING

AN OVERVIEW

There are several reasons to study RYA courses:

  • Internationally recognised – RYA qualifications are respected and accepted globally, including by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA)

  • High-quality training – each course is designed to provide a thorough understanding of sailing techniques, safety procedures and navigational skills

  • Practical experience – RYA courses provide hands-on training on the water to prepare you for the real world sailing situations

  • Enhanced credibility – RYA is the number 1 training organisation in the world

  • These courses can enhance your credibility in the sailing community

Pacific Sailing School has partnered with a number of local and international providers to enhance your learning experience and transport it to the world we know today.

Face-to-face classroom learning is a thing of the past, so we have developed eLearning packages that cover each theory syllabus, allowing you to study:

  • at your own time
  • at a pace that suits your lifestyle
  • from anywhere in the world.

We recognise that sometimes a bit more guidance is needed, so most of our courses offer a blended course format where you pre-study the eLearning topics being covered and then attend evening Virtual sessions with our RYA Yachtmaster Instructors.
