A great introduction to navigation and safety awareness for new or inexperienced skippers.
COMPLETE SKIPPER
Comprehensive course including VHF Radio, Online Skipper and RYA Day Skipper Theory.
Study these three courses at your own pace, with the option to upgrade your Day Skipper Theory to include virtual sessions
RYA DAY SKIPPER theory
This course includes 16 modules that can be completed in your own time, blended with an additional 4 x 3-hour evening virtual sessions. A great way to cover the hard bits before you start the exercises providing a new and more flexible course option. Perfect if you already know how to crew but want to expand your knowledge.
rya coastal skipper/ yachtmaster theory
This course of 40-hours eLearning plus 6 x 3-hour virtual evenings provides advanced training for more experienced skippers and builds on the RYA Day Skipper course. It equips you to navigate safely on coastal and offshore passages.
rya yachtmaster ocean theory
This course is for those aspiring to blue water cruising and is ideal for holders of the Yachtmaster Offshore certificate who are preparing for their first ocean passage.
40 hours of face-to-face learning plus exams which can be invigilated if you are looking for commercial endorsement.
SAFETY AND SEA SURVIVAL
Ditch the face-to-face classroom and study in your own time with our online eLearning course. Then attend 3-hours of practical drills (flares and pool).
Full course: 6-hours eLearning. Revalidation: 3-4 hours eLearning.
MARINE RADIO (VHF/hf)
Learn everything you need to know about using marine VHF and/or HF radio. Study the 6-hours eLearning at your own pace, then join us for 3-hours for your practical session and invigilated exam.
