Sailing Holiday

Swim with rays, sharks and turtles
in beautiful Tahiti

May 2026

Terry is returning to Tahiti for an amazing Sailing Adventure

For the history and romance alone, Tahiti is a place you must get to at least once in a lifetime. Raiatea, Huahine and Bora Bora are names and images which have become synonymous with paradise. Set in the middle of the vast Pacific, this peace of France offers pristine natural beauty and 5 star luxury, when visiting one of the many resorts. With an overwater bungalow costing a minimum $1500- $2000 per night, a catamaran charter is superior in almost every way.

Tahiti, a paradise on our doorstep

Terry is often asked “Where is the next Sailing Holiday destination?”

In 2026 we will be returning to Tahiti.  With beautiful anchorages, fantastic restaurants with their own moorings and renowned snorkeling spots, this was an easy choice.

May is a great time to visit Tahiti.  With air temperatures between 20-29 degrees, water temperatures hovering consistently around 26 and south-easterly trade winds of 10-15 knots, sailing, snorkeling and swimming will be daily pleasures.

Our Itinerary

A Typical Day on Board

Wake up with a splash—literally! Start with a refreshing swim in a hidden bay, then enjoy breakfast on deck. Sail to your next stunning spot, whether it’s exploring coastal towns, hiking, or relaxing on a quiet beach. Evenings? Fresh local dinners, Terry’s legendary stories, and stargazing from the deck. Pure Tahitian bliss with a side of Aussie charm.

Highlights of the Journey:

Tahiti offers a wide variety of quality French fare, as well as Polynesian influences. The dining atmosphere at the Bora Bora yacht club is unique: and an experience not to be missed. Fresh grilled fish, fine French wines and fresh baguettes.

Huahine is known for its preserved Polynesian mystery and beautiful anchorages.

Part of the Leeward Islands, this is a great place to explore lush islands and coral reefs.

Expect to sail through turquoise waters around lush islands, secluded motus (small islets), and vibrant coral reefs.

Explore secluded motus, go snorkeling over vibrant coral reefs, and enjoy the island’s tranquil atmosphere.

Popular anchoring spots include Tiva Anchorage and Apu Bay. From these locations, we will anchor in secluded lagoons and take a dinghy to explore the coral reefs.

World-renowned for its stunning turquoise lagoon and dramatic volcanic peaks. It is surrounded by a lagoon protected by a coral reef, creating calm and clear waters.

An extinct volcano, Mount Otemanu, rises from the island’s center.

Berth at the Bora Bora Yacht Club, minutes away from the most important village of the island, Vaitape and  enjoy the local Polynesian hospitality.

At the end of the charter, fly back to Papeete on Saturday afternoon and stay two nights at a resort (included). Regroup for dinner on Saturday night and spend Sunday by the pool or exploring the local delights before your 4am departure on Monday morning.

The itinerary is flexible, adapting to weather and group preferences—because adventure doesn’t stick to a script!

It’s your holiday, and we want you to enjoy every moment in a way that suits you best.
