Maintenance for your Vessel
BASIC YACHT MAINTENANCE
This is a hands-on course where you will gain an understanding of various maintenance tasks that help to keep your yacht safe and operational.
We teach you how to take simple measures to prevent mechanical breakdown at sea and to rectify defects which do not require workshop support.
COURSE DELIVERY
- Face-to-face practical course
- 3 Consecutive Days 10am to 5pm
- Professional Instruction from experienced industry experts
COURSE PROGRAM
Day 1 – General overview, marine electrics, ropework, safety and general equipment
Day 2 – RYA Diesel Engine Course
Day 3 – General yacht/winch servicing
QUALIFICATIONS
- RYA Diesel Engine Certificate
- Basic Yacht Maintenance
The Basic Yacht Maintenance course is run by our training partner.
OUTBOARD ENGINE MAINTENANCE
This is a one day course for the boating enthusiast who wants a basic understanding of the operation and maintenance of an outboard motor.
We teach you how to take simple measures to prevent mechanical breakdown at sea and to rectify defects which do not require workshop support.
