Short Offshore Racing Series
 
															The Short Offshore Series is a point-score non-spinnaker series, hosted by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia. The majority of races are sailed off Sydney Heads with 11 windward/leeward races combined with 6 passage races.
Join us on More Witchcraft and be trained in key crew positions
We are offering a number of packages for this race series, to provide continuity in learning and the best possible outcomes for you.
- Book 5 consecutive races and get the 6th (consecutive) race free.
- Book 7 consecutive races and get your 8th and 9th (consecutive) races free
- Or book individual races on a stand-by basis

- On the dock Training Sessions will be scheduled for the Tuesday prior to your first race, at 18:00-20:00
- Mix of Offshore windward/leeward races and Passage Races
- For Pittwater Races, accommodation is onboard “More Witchcraft” with dinner at Royal Motor Yacht Club at own expense.
- Join Ian, John and Terry on “More Witchcraft”
- Training in key crew positions
- Make lifelong friends
- Upon completion, Terry will give a personal recommendation to qualified crew to selected CYCA skippers

Crewed by PSS students, “More Witchcraft” had a fantastic result in the 2024 Winter Series – winning the last 3 races and getting Line Honours and 1st on Handicap in the final Women’s Day Race.
“More Witchcraft” has competed in the Sydney-Gold Coast, Sydney-Mooloolaba, Gosford-Lord Howe Island, Sydney-Noumea and Sydney-Hobart Races

Booking Conditions:
- PSS reserves the right to cancel racing and/or training days due to weather and/or safety concerns. In such event an alternate sailing day will be scheduled.
- Non-attendance on sailing and training days will not be rescheduled or refunded
