Start Skippering
This course equips participants with advanced sailing and boat handling techniques; take out a small yacht in familiar waters by day and/ or progress into the RYA Yacht Training Scheme
Includes:
- 2 x 6 hour days of practical lessons on Sydney Harbour
- 1 x Theory and Social Evening, followed by fine wine in the Yacht Club
Practical Course Content:
- Safety, responsibility and risk management
- Complete several sailing skills as a helmsperson
- IRPCS
- Meteorology
- Local Knowledge
Keelboat - Start Skippering Course
- Single Person Price: $860
- We suggest also the RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship, Safety and Sea Survival, Marine Radio Operating
- Plus $150 Australian Sailing registration, insurance on school boats, logbook, textbook. (If it is the first course you have done at PSS)
