TEAMBUILDING ON J24 KEELBOATS
There really is no better way to see Sydney Harbour than from the water. Experience the thrill and adrenalin of sailing in your own private regatta on Sydney Harbour.
We use J24 keelboats which accommodate 4 crew and 1 Instructor. With 7 J24s in our fleet and a tender with driver, there is plenty of opportunity for 30 participants to experience sailing.
Please note there is a minimum booking of 3 J24s per event.
includes:
- 3-hour sessions
- Briefing and Safety Demonstration
- One Instructor per boat
- Tender with Driver
- Departure and return from our base at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia
what to expect:
- Learn the basic points of sailing and how the wind helps you move
- Instruction on each position - trimming the jib, trimming the mainsail, moving the traveller and taking turns on the helm
- Rotate your crew of 4 through the positions
- Work together to get the boat moving as fast as possible
- Participate in a regatta, around Clark Island/Fort Denison (weather dependent)
- Stories of battling the elements and out-manoeuvering and out-thinking other crews
- Everyone will be wearing a lifejacket

- We do not have catering onboard as you will be too busy sailing
- There is an option to return to the CYCA for a post sailing debrief
- We do supply bottled water

The boats:
- "More Witchcraft" Dibley 46' Race Yacht - 8 crew
- "Moonglider" 12.6m Catamaran - 8 crew
- "Serendipity" 12.6m Catamaran - 8 crew
- 11.7m and 13.6m Catamaran - 8 crew
- Can combine with a minimum of 3 x J24's
INCLUDES:
- 3-hour session
